ArcelorMittal Europe – Long Products Bars & Rods verfügt über eine bedeutende Präsenz bei Stabprodukten für Automobilanwendungen wie Kaltstauch-, Automaten-, Schmiede-, Lager-, Stahlkord- und Federstählen.
Unsere Produktionsstätten in Duisburg, Gandrange, Revigny und Warschau sind besonders auf die hohen Ansprüche der Automobil- und Lkw-Branche ausgelegt.
ArcelorMittal ist an der Spitze von Innovationen für den weltweiten Automotive-Markt. ArcelorMittal Europe – Long Products Bars & Rods produziert Leichtbaustahl-Lösungen aus Stabstahl und Draht welche zum Erreichen der CO2-Ziele beitragen. Im Durchschnitt finden 165 kg Langstahlprodukte (= ca. 12 % des Fahrzeug- gewichtes) im Auto Verwendung. Sowohl im Antriebsstrang (Motor, Getriebe), im Fahrwerk (Lenkung, Federn) als auch in den Sicherheits- und Komfortteilen (Reifen, Sitze) und in vielen anderen Komponenten finden sich Teile aus Stabstahl und Draht.
