AM/NS India, the joint venture between the world's leading steel companies ArcelorMittal and Nippon Steel, was proud to be part of the first edition of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024. It was a unique initiative by India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry to boost the mobility sector in India, held at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from 1-3 February 2024.
This was an opportunity for AM/NS India to engage with various OEMs and to showcase our upcoming automotive product portfolio and expansion plans with physical products & digital interventions.
The physical display of the steel applications included:
- Single door ring
- Double door ring, using ArcelorMittal Multi Part Integration™ technology
- Laser Welded Blank B-pillar
- Battery Pack solution
Digital interventions such as the Interactive Timeline, Hologram, Plasma screens, LFD screen, and a robot were used to present additional details for each of the products.
We welcomed honorary dignitaries from the Government of India – Mr. Piyush Goyal (Minister of Commerce & Industry), Mr. NN Sinha (Steel Secretary), and Mr. Sunil Barthwal (Commerce Secretary, Ministry of Commerce & Industry) to our stall and elaborated about the forthcoming advanced steel products to support the Make in India initiative.
