ArcelorMittal to showcase advanced automotive steel solutions at three major German industry events

This autumn, ArcelorMittal's automotive business will participate in three important industry events across Germany: EuroCarBody in Bad Nauheim, EuroBLECH in Hannover and the International Suppliers Fair (IZB) in Wolfsburg. Looking forward to meeting you there to discuss our partnership and exchange about the latest automotive steel solution innovations.

Across these events, visitors will discover how ArcelorMittal's latest steel innovations help automotive manufacturers address the industry's key challenges: reducing weight, improving sustainability, lowering costs, simplifying manufacturing and enhancing vehicle safety.

A strong focus will be placed on ArcelorMittal Multi Part Integration® (MPI) solutions, advanced steel grades for body-in-white, chassis and battery pack applications, tubular solutions and tailored services including fast prototyping. Visitors will also have the opportunity to learn more about recent developments in sustainable steel solutions, including applications using XCarb® recycled and renewably produced steel.

We are showcasing our advanced steel solutions for automotive body-in-white (BIW), battery pack, and chassis applications, demonstrating how ArcelorMittal is driving innovation and sustainability in the mobility sector. The ArcelorMittal Multi Part Integration® (MPI) concept will be a central highlight at our stands, showcasing how we streamline vehicle manufacturing by integrating multiple vehicle parts into a single laser-welded blank (LWB). This innovative approach simplifies production while advancing sustainability through weight reduction and cost savings.

Usibor® 1500, produced with XCarb® recycled and renewably produced steel, serves as a prime example of how we’re supporting the transition to more sustainable mobility. This steel can be manufactured using high levels of recycled content and renewable electricity via the Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) process. Additionally, our MartINsite® steels, used for bumpers safety or to protect battery packs, emphasise strength, durability, and reduced carbon footprints, reinforcing our commitment to safe and sustainable electric vehicle solutions.

We look forward to welcoming visitors to our stands at EuroCarBody, EuroBLECH and IZB and discussing how smarter steels can contribute to the future of mobility.
