Discussing tailored solutions for local OEM needs
The Yujian™ solution is closely aligned with the Chinese automotive industry's push for lightweighting, safety, and sustainability. It redefines benchmarks in multi-part integration, and during the launch event on April 23rd, it resonated strongly with media, OEMs, and Tier-1 suppliers alike – generating attention across channels and earning attention from industry-leading media such as CGTN, China Automotive News, and Gasgoo.
Cutting-edge steel grades powering innovation
Central to both the "Yujian™" and "Simplify" solutions are ArcelorMittal's globally recognized advanced steel grades:
These grades were showcased through interactive demonstrations, expert walkthroughs, and immersive AR experiences across a 300㎡ smart exhibition space, highlighting how material science is enabling the next generation of electric and intelligent vehicles.
"Simplify": a philosophy rooted in performance
ArcelorMittal also introduced its complementary "Simplify" integration concept – a nod to Eastern philosophy emphasizing efficiency through reduction. It reflects a growing need in the industry for clean, lean manufacturing enabled by intelligent material design and a simplified production chain.
The solution drew interest during the technical sessions held from April 25th-26th, where engineers and senior decision-makers from leading OEMs engaged in deeper strategic discussions with the ArcelorMittal team.
Creating connection: beyond the booth
The VAMA & GONVVAMA stand drew over 200 visitors daily, with more than 400 active participants engaging in interactive activities such as augmented reality design challenges and guided steel explorations.
Notable highlights included:
This multi-sensory, multi-stakeholder approach reinforced ArcelorMittal’s image as not only a materials leader but also a strategic partner invested in China’s mobility transition.
