ArcelorMittal awarded for supplier excellence in North America by General Motors

ArcelorMittal recently accepted the General Motors Supplier Quality Excellence Award for three production facilities in North America – AM/NS Calvert, Indiana Harbor, and I/N Tek and I/N Kote. This is a prestigious recognition, given to specific manufacturing locations that meet or exceed a very stringent set of quality performance criteria and have achieved the cross-functional support of the entire GM organization. Only top performing supplier manufacturing sites are eligible.

Nearly 500 employees attended ArcelorMittal Indiana Harbor’s town hall meeting where General Motors representative, Mark Wu commended their performance.

“It’s my great pleasure to present this award to ArcelorMittal,” said Wu. “General Motors appreciates your effort, dedication and contribution in supplying high quality steel to General Motors.”
