The EuroNCAP tests included frontal impact, lateral impact, and whiplash tests. Based on the results, EuroNCAP determined that protection levels for adult occupants was 87 percent, and 89 percent for children.
The ID.3’s extensive use of safety systems resulted in protection levels of 71 percent for vulnerable road users. Safety assist features such as lane assist were also highly rated by EuroNCAP at 88 percent.
