Hyundai Motor Brazil (Hyundai) recognized its best suppliers in Brazil during the company’s annual supplier conference held in 6th May 2021. Hyundai rewarded the suppliers who achieved the goals of quality in the delivery of products and services in 2020 in the Excellence categories of: Foreign Trade Services, Indirect General Purchases, Direct Material, Sustainability, Quality Management, Competitiveness and Performance. ArcelorMittal received the award for Excellence in Direct Material during 2020.
ArcelorMittal supplies coated and uncoated steel from ArcelorMittal Tubarão and ArcelorMittal Vega for the Hyundai plant in Piracicaba (Brazil) and also supplies Hyundai in other regions of the world.

Osmer Fiorese, ArcelorMittal Automotive Sales Manager for South America, received the award from Mr Chun Sik Hwang, Hyundai Brazil Vice President of Procurement Division who praised the winners. This year the ceremony was organized virtually while the winners received their award before the online event took place.
